General Contractor— Vector Mais
Project — Vera Lucena Architecture & Design
Area — 320m²
Location — Lisbon

Euronext, the company responsible for the Lisbon Stock Exchange, hired Vector Mais to renovate its office in the Portuguese capital to provide greater comfort and functionality. Following the project of interior designer Vera Lucena, Vector Mais materialized a work environment where natural materials, a subtle color palette, and a careful choice of furniture and lighting are the elements that stand out the most.

The lounge in the center of the office is the space with the most impact, serving as a gathering point for Euronext employees and being prepared for informal meetings or collaboration sessions. The walnut wood slats separate it from the hallway, serving as a backdrop for this comfortable area with a sofa, armchair, and high table with stools. The serene and timeless design runs throughout the rest of the office, from the reception and privacy booth to the open space and meeting room. The project also involved renovating the terrace on the upper floor.

“From the beginning, Vector Mais demonstrated total alignment with meeting the ambitious deadline for completing the work, expressing willingness to find solutions to the challenges. Deadlines were strictly met, within budget, and by expected quality standards”.

What's the importance of renovating your office in Lisbon?
The strategic pillars of this project were the improvement of the space's acoustic performance and the team's planned expansion. At the same time, we wanted to offer our employees a space that would enhance collaboration and team spirit, promoting productivity and creativity without neglecting comfort and well-being. We were also looking to create a social area that would bring a sense of belonging to each of our employees, who felt it was theirs and enjoyed the space as if they were at home. At the same time, we sought to create sheltered workspaces that allowed moments of total focus and concentration.

The final space had to be comfortable and elegant, with differentiating details that reflected the rich and remarkable history of the Lisbon Stock Exchange and its projection into the future. The office becomes a point of convergence between innovation and tradition. The choice of materials, furniture, and lighting had to be carefully made to reflect Euronext's firm commitment to sustainability, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and using recycled and recyclable materials.

“In collaboration with Vector Mais, we successfully overcame the most demanding issues and offered the client the appropriate solutions. This joint effort contributed significantly to the technical quality of the work and the full realization of the project, reflecting the client’s vision and expectations”.
