Locarent

Project: Vector Mais
Contractor: Vector Mais
Area: 1.000 m²
Location: Porto Salvo

As one of the main car rental companies in Portugal, Locarent chose Vector Mais for the design and construction of its headquarters at Edifício Orange in Porto Salvo. With the new corporate identity of the company and the motto ‘mobility that unites us’ as starting points for the construction of the interiors, Vector Mais has developed a contemporary, comfortable and dynamic environment. The colors associated with Locarent were used in an innovative way, through a choice of timeless materials and textures, something that is noticeable in the various spaces of the new headquarters, from the reception and library to the phone booths and cafeteria. The introduction of new furniture and lighting (supplied by Vector Mais) in these common areas was essential to create a harmonious and inspiring work space, something essential for Locarent and its employees.

“In times of change, Locarent is changing, combining a successful past with a hopeful future. With this new space, we wanted to provide our Customers, Partners and Employees with a comfortable, inspirational and collaborative environment that materializes in improving the quality of the service provided, in designing new solutions and in the personal and professional growth of all who work here - a company that unites.”
The management, Locarent

“The move of Locarent's facilities allowed Vector Mais to develop a new office space with a contemporary concept, adapted and organized to meet the requirements of the renting company. The result was a modern and functional space with management offices and open-plan work spaces next to the facades in order to enjoy natural light. The central corridor allows for better communication and collaboration between the various departments of the company. The location of the new facilities determined special attention to the interior environment and the comfort of common areas such as the cafeteria, library and phone booths. The Administration area, with sober and elegant materials, develops in a separate area, more independent and with greater privacy. The project favored the careful selection of materials, textures, furniture, lighting and the use/updating of the Locarent colors (green, blue, gray) in a more innovative and appropriate to current trends, along with the change in branding that accompanied the modernization and new image of the company.”
